A Public Service Announcement

Try not to think too much less of me when you watch this You Tube Clip. Mark's boss sent it to him at work...hmm...I wondering what he's trying to say about our kids.

7 SPLURTS:

That was quite a roller coaster for me. First, I was nodding my head in empathy. Next, I started cracking up at the kid wailing on the floor after tossing things across the store, and the looks from other customers, in which I've received myself at times. Then the condom part... torn. SO FUNNY how moments like that can spur on thoughts such as those, yet at the same time I was sad that the advertisers made kids being kids a nusience to society (and parents, lol).

I don't think I can better verbalize my comment than A. did hers. Tantrums are never fun to witness. Wether you are an anonymous bystander, or the connected parent. We've all been there. But I have to say I have never, ever, ever wished that some sort of birth control had come between me and the tantrum-thrower. Funny as the intent of the commercial was, I only felt sad at the end that, like A. stated, sometimes society relegates children from a blessing to an inconvenience and a burden.

Oh, that's funny! Sorry, maybe I'm heartless, but I thought it was FUNNY! Thankfully my kids do not throw tantrums like that, so I can not empathize!

Uh I would just pick the kid up and head out the car. McKenna threw a crying fit like this once because I wouldn't buy her a Mary Kate and Ashely nightgown. Needless to say she has never gotten anything Mary Kate and Ashley and she knows why. It has nothing to do with using condoms and everything to do with not letting your child be a brat.

And your kids are definitely not brats.

The look on the guys face is funny though.

I love that the dad is the one at the store.

Ha ha. I love that commercial. I've laughed at almost every condom commercial I've seen. Is that bad?
