Hey all, so for the last eight or so years, my hubby and I have been lovers of the game: SETTLERS OF CATAN. I have recently decided to expand our gaming horizons...and no by gaming I don't mean we dress up in dungeons and dragons costums and...(you get the point).
Anyway, my question is, what games do you love? And why?

I can't think of a board game off the top of my head, but we love Rook, Rumikub, and Phase 10.
What?!! I was going to totally suggest dressing up in full costume and joining us for a good ole game of Dungeons and Dragons! I was even going to let you be a wounded dwarf with the mystical power of a doily. It would've been good times. :(
We've been playing Ticket to Ride, and Killer Bunnies lately. They are both awesome games--I know you'd love them. check 'em out if you haven't already....:)
Rummikub, Phase 10, Dominoes (either mexican train or chicken foot) and skip-bo are our families favorites. I also love catch phrase and outburst but those are bigger group games.
BOGGLE is a must when playing with Auna's. Love Killer Bunnies. I can't believe Sanae loves that too!! FUN one! Cranium, if you have lots of people over. Scrablle is a holiday must, PHase 10 is always adventurous. And if you can find Wacky 6....that is the best!
BOGGLE. BOGGLE. BOGGLE. We love Boggle. And Speed Scrabble. And all Quiddler. And all word games.

We LOVE Carcasonne! The whole family play's, grandma and Kami included. lol
We also like Nerts (a FAST card game), Golf (another card game), Apples to Apples, Mad Gab, and then some dice game like Farkle, or even Pass the Pig (or something like that).
We have game night with our friends once in a while..use to be every week before kids. Games rock!
Oh, and Tim and I use to stay up and play Yahtzee all the time. lol
Ticket to Ride, the German version. It's the only version (I think) with the passenger card. It's fun!

We love games, too, and just got Acquire and we love it. It's an older game, but still addicting. We also love puerto rico.
The company that makes Settlers of Catan also do a game caled "Hey! That's my Fish!" Each player has a group of penguins that are running around the ice trying to catch the most fish. Lots of fun especially if you have kids.
Hi-this is Troy's cousin, Megan and I love to check in on your blog! We love the game Ticket to Ride. It's one of the funnest games out there-but be sure to get the Europe or German edition because it's a ton more fun :)

Oh my FRIGGIN HECK! Jay and I L.O.V.E Settlers, and Ticket to Ride, and Bonanza and Agricola, and Citadels, and Pirate's Cove, and Pass the Pigs, and Poker night and ETC. We should get together and game some time. Always more fun with pride on the line ;)
-Yes, Settlers rocks. For anyone who may be unfamiliar with the game, the Knights of Catan expansion is fun, but the Seafarers expansion is a waste of money.

Don't know if you will ever see this since I am commenting in January, but we like Ticket to Ride, and our all time, fall back favorite is 5 Crowns. It is similar to Phase 10, but more fun, in my opinion!
