The other day, I came home and stood downstairs in my 'pink' room picking out fabric to make a quilt. My friend glanced out the window and noticed something very furry laying down right by my window. I couldn't believe how close the deer was to my house. I ran upstairs as quick as I could to grab my camera when I noticed 5 more deer laying down in the back corner of my yard! Apparently, the deer like me...from now on, you can refer to me as your 'deer' friend. hahahaha

[Ignoring lame cliche at the end of the post] How awesome! That is definately something that would not happen here. How I'd love to come live there and experience all that you write about. (At least for a short period until I yearn for my sunshine and shorts again. :P )
How cool! We have a fence around our back yard but one time a little brown furry bunny came to live under our shed. Christian named him Fuzzy. Then the next day, Troy got out his bb gun and eliminated Fuzzy with his bb gun. So maybe it's good we don't have deer visiting us.
Erin, I want to quilt with you! I am just starting a quilt for little Taylor so lets get together!
Apparently you provide a safe haven for more than the four boys you live with. You even have a buck in there! Honestly I just enjoyed seeing a picture of all this snow my mom keeps telling me about. It's beautiful and wish we could steal some from you!!!
Awww doesn't Bubba try to chase them?? Zeke would go NUTSO!!! Seriously he would be insane.
DEer Friend..haa haa haahaha hahahee heehehe!! I get it!! Are you going to shoot it and eat the meat? UMMMM yummy. ok, I wouldn't know, but if they are so close...why not?
"Deer" me! That is so cool! We caught a deer in our corral when I was a teenager. They were always eating our shrubs and trees. What quilt are you doing now?
That story brings to mind a story about another deer. A talking one... A story of how my "deer friend" freaked out a group of kids browsing the isles at Christmastime. Ahhh. Good times, good times.
Remember the guy in your high school that was a friend of yours and bragged about going deer hunting and you were upset that anyone would want to shoot Bambi?
My mom used to make my brother shoot the deer in our yard with his paint ball gun. . . and she is literally the most crazy animal loving freak on earth . . . but she's also a freakish gardener and the deer would pull up her tulip bulbs. . .
PS- I've got another photo tip up for you!
Erin, you are quite the photographer! You have an eye for it. I used to love finding deer in our backyard when we lived at good ol' Wymount- our first apt. I'd be at the computer writing one of our many papers and I'd hear leaves crunching in the backyard and it was always deer. I got excited to see them every time. P.S. I love your pink room!
