To move or not to move that is the question....No I am not talking about us moving to wherever we are going to move, but which piece of furniture should go or not go. Mark and I refinished a pine hutch a few months ago and I have been considering selling the piece. But we are once again at an impasse...Yes, whether I sell a piece of furniture or not is quite the quandry. Here is the Hutch, what do you think?
Erin--Ship it to Utah & I'll give you $30 bucks for it!
ReplyDeleteAccessories included, of course......
ReplyDeleteConsidering I've wanted a hutch for forever now, I'd say KEEP IT!
ReplyDeleteBut then again, moving furniture is a pain.
I guess just ask yourself if you'll want one for your next place, and will you as easily be able to find a good deal. If you can get another, then you might as well sell it and use the money for the move and for buying a new hutch. If not, I'd take it since finding acherished pieced of furniture isn't always easy. Not too mention ones you've put your own elbow grease into. :)
Then again...hee hee...it's just a material possession. How much are you attached to it?
Tell Marc he's amazing! It looks great! And did you really help him?
ReplyDeleteIf I had a second kitchen I'd take it off your hands, but as it is, the first one I bought from you (which I still am in love with) takes up all the space I have to spare!
It is too cute- keep it!
ReplyDeleteIs this the same hutch where in its previous life, was green in color or did that one get sold off? Anyway, it looks nice enough to be a keeper unless you see a market for it in Nigeria? Bye.
ReplyDeleteYou know, in eight months and 16 days it will be my 31st birthday. Seems like a sort of present-type hutch, eh?
ReplyDeleteI'd keep it (meaning ME, ha ha) if the shipping from HI to WA isn't too much. It's so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what shipping is like, but that is beautiful! I wish I knew how to do things like that (or could even invision something like that).
ReplyDeleteI'm also glad to hear that you liked the Harry Potter films. I haven't liked any that I have seen so far (because like you put in so many words - the books are much better). I have heard from several other friends that this one is great though - I can't wait to see it!
Considering the shipping cost of just that piece I would think you are looking a four to five hundred dollars.
ReplyDeleteI would recommend that you sell it but try to find a way to wait for the buyer that sees it's true value. Hopefully you can find that person before it is time to move but if not find someone to hold it till it is sold for the right price. It is a beautiful piece but too expensive to ship it would think.
Erin can you guys move next to me so you can find and fix things to look AMAZING for my home????
